Northeastern Wyoming has a long tradition of high-quality educational options and technical training. Currently, the region is served by two institutions, Sheridan and Gillette colleges, which together make up the Northern Wyoming Community College District. The 4,000 students who attend each year can choose from degree-preparation, online graduate programs, or specialized technical training in industry-specific skills. Both colleges provide outstanding, industry-driven technical education and training and have demonstrated the commitment, facilities, support and flexibility to support a diversification and growth strategy for the region.
